My father died over a week ago. I'm struggling to keep my sanity. I'm afraid that my bipolar will return with a vengence, so I'm trying to continue my exercise regimen. I feel that now it is even more important that I maintain a healthy lifestyle.

I started The Brain Muscle Workout before I went to see my father. I found it easy and doable. I used two half liter bottles of water to use on my workout. I felt energized and proud of myself for doing it. Since I've been back I've been focusing on my 30 minute walks. Even they seem tough right now, but I feel that my endorphins really need that kick right now. This week I will continue my Brain Muscle Workouts again.

I'm also going to be adding more Omega 3's to my diet. Omega 3's are important for Bipolars to add to their diet since they're brain food that help in Bipolar Disorder. Omega 3's can be found in fish like salmon and there's even eggs that contain them now. You can also find Omega 3's in nuts like almonds.

When you're going through a difficult time, it's best to use all the power in your arsenal. Right now that's all I can do to get through the day.
